Snow Event #1

December 1, 2025

Yesterday’s snow event on November 30th marked a strong start to the early-season push for Northern Snow — and we’re proud to share that it was an efficient and highly successful operation for our entire team and our customers.

Full Pass Completed in 7.5–8 Hours

Our crews worked smoothly through the night and early morning, completing one full pass for every customer in approximately 7.5 to 8 hours. This timing kept us well within our service promise and ensured driveways and lots were opened up quickly.

Minimal Breakdowns

With only minimal equipment issues, our teams were able to maintain momentum and avoid major interruptions — a big win this early in the season.

Gravel Rollers: A Game-Changer

One of the standout successes of this storm was the performance of our new gravel rollers.

These attachments proved to be a significant upgrade for our gravel customers, helping us:

  • Reduce surface disturbance

  • Minimize pick-up of gravel

  • Leave a cleaner, smoother finish

  • Increase overall efficiency on rural and non-paved routes

Early results show they’re going to become a core part of our gravel service strategy going forward.

Overall Takeaway

For our customers, the November 30th storm meant:

  • Faster service

  • Cleaner, smoother work on gravel

  • Reliable results backed by strong equipment performance

It was a confident step into the season, and our team is already prepping for what comes next.
