Standard vs. Premium Snow Service: What’s the Difference?

At Northern Snow, we offer two levels of residential snow service so customers can choose the option that best fits their routine: Standard and Premium.

Standard Service

Our Standard tier includes reliable driveway clearing during each snow event. Your home is placed on a scheduled route, and operators complete the route in sequence. This is a great option for customers who don’t require early-morning or priority service and comfortable with one pass after 7am. Standard homes are marked with Northern Blue pickets.

Premium Service

Premium customers receive priority. This includes an early first pass before 7:00 a.m. Premium homes are also marked with Northern Black pickets so our operators can identify them instantly during nighttime operations. For most accurate identification, this is input into Aurora so the operators and track through their tablets.

Why Two Options?

Snow in Sault Ste. Marie can be unpredictable, and having two service tiers helps us operate efficiently while giving customers flexibility. No matter your tier, you’re supported by our full operations team and technology systems.
